I am the new ops leader. As such I will be putting together several operations. These are not just limited to ops. These are hard mode flashpoints, Heriocs, as well as a Gear-Up-My-Character Event. I have posted several. if the times do not work I NEED to know. IF the dates do not work I NEED to know. So please let me know here. Also get signed up so I know who wants to do these things. These ops and runs may not just be our people they may be from other guilds but we will run them together and start working on getting every body geared up to be able to do all the ops when you are 55.

Not all the events listed are 55 ONLY I am doing all range events. So sign up. If you have questions. Ask them here or ask them when I am in game. You will either find me on as Rennax or Crashoveride on the Republic side and Sesar as the Imp side.

Any questions? Now is the time to ask......

I will let you know what my work schedule is when my boss puts it up. Then you and me can probably get something started on the imp side for people in the guild.

Personally, I'm available virtually any time on any day since I'm currently on summer vacation from college. However, I plan on trying to get a summer job, so I'll let you know when I get one.

As for actually doing ops, for starters, I notice that F2P (like me) and even preferred accounts can't join in on ops (aside from world bosses) unless they have a weekly pass from the cartel market. GTN can be used to get around this, but we might want to talk about ops access more in the game.

Also, I seem to be getting XP towards lv51 even though I'm a lv50 F2P and don't have the digital expansion. Can F2P level up past 50 for whatever reason?

This is a good place to check the things you get as Free 2 Play. It does say 1-50 for Levels, in order to get to 55 you need the Hutt Cartel Expansion as that is what unlocked 55 in the first place. As for operations you do need a weekly pass to participate sadly.

I hope this answered your questions more clearly.

Ya, I figured out that I can't get lv51 when I got 1XP away from it, and found out that I can't get any more XP. Now that I'm maxed out on level, I'm probably going to complete my class story and farm credits to buy escrow withdrawals so I can unlock sith pureblood race for my future inquisitor, and eventually get account wide artifact permissions (probably guild bank access too). Someone I ran into a few times said that selling non-junk items on GTN rather than vendors happens to be the best ways to get cash faster, and since I grabbed 10 GTN slots (account wide, since it is no more expensive than single character), I'll be able to actually use that.

The only other thing would be grouping up for heroic flashpoints (or ops if someone passes me an ops pass), so whoever finds me in game that wants to do that, just say so in the game's guild chat and I'll head for Ilum or wherever for the flashpoint (not so much group finder, since F2P gets limited loot rolls if you use that).

Speaking of which, I never did Directive 7 b4, so anyone feel free to talk to me if they want to group up for that.

Can the weekly passes be purchased from the gtn? Maybe the guild can donate towards the purchase of the passes for the f2p folks.

How much do these "weekly passes" cost

A weekly pass costs 240 cartel coins, and are usually sold on GTN in the 250k to 350k range, so they're priced much like 600k escrow credit withdrawals.

Its not so hard for F2P to grab a 150k escrow withdrawal, max out, and use the escrow withdrawal, but it takes credits just to get those withdrawals, so seeing weekly passes sold by guildies for 200k would help out.

I don't think its dumb at all, I wasted some cartel credits on it initially thinking it was something I needed. Here is a good description I found making "escrow" very easy to understand. primarily for FREE to PLAY players

Okay, it doesn't look like this has been adequately explained in this thread, so I'm going to try and do it.

Free to play (Freebs) and Preferred (Prefs) have a limit to the amount of credits that they can have at any one time. Any money that they get that goes ABOVE and BEYOND this limit is put into an account that they CANNOT SEE, this is called an Escrow Account. For example, Johnny Jedi opens his inventory and sees that he has 250,000 credits, he CAN'T HAVE more than 250,000 credits. But let's say that Johnny Jedi has been playing for some time and he knows he has a ton of money in his Escrow Account. He then goes and buys a Credit Escrow Transfer unlock from the Cartel Market for 600,000 credits. This allows him to have a one-time temporary extension of his credit limit of up to 600,000 credits, so Johnny can have a total of 850,000 credits available to him. Luckily in this example he has plenty of credits to do this with.

Johnny Jedi buys a new speeder for 700,000 credits leaving him with 150,000 credits in his inventory. But he then sells something for 100,000 credits. That would put Johnny Jedi back up to his initial credit limit of 250,000 credits, which is the limit for Freebs.

It is important to understand that the Credit Escrow Transfer unlocks DO NOT GIVE YOU CREDITS. They ACCESS credits you ALREADY have. If you haven't earned them, you DO NOT have the credits.

FInally, you CANNOT buy credits in this game.
